Classic Rock Bottom

WHAT CLASSIC ROCK (OR JUST PLAIN ROCK) ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

So what are you listening to right now?  Any genre is cool.

For me:

Scott's Hidden Treasure

Depeche Mode - Wrong (courtesy of Niels)

Kim Mitchell - Akimbo Alogo (courtesy of Jon)

Next week's Album of the Week (hint: think orchestra)

I think I read somewhere the other day that INXS is releasing a new album...
It's going to be a covers album.

Of their own songs.

With guest vocalists.

Out October maybe?
I've been catching up on the New Music Corner, Aerosmith (Done With Mirrors from Jon's LAOTW), Scott's Hidden Treasures and Niel's VOTW. Will catch up on Mike Pell's Blog posts this week.

Also:

Tool - Lateralus (Thanks Niels)
Buckcherry - All Night Long
Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare
I'm listening to my new albums :

Devo - Something for everybody
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

but also:

Down'N'Outz - My Regeneration
Muse - Black Holes & Revalations
Eels - Blinking Lights and other revalations
and a danish musician "Sebastian - Romeo-seranader", because I'm reading a book about him at the moment.

..oh, and I'm going to put on "Born to run" tonight.

Gotta keep pounding this into the ground...is it the remaster from Castle? And does it still sound bad? My remaster sounds bad, I don't believe the album has ever sounded "sharp", maybe that's the way it's always going to be. Just curious because if there's a nice remaster out there, I'll pick it up. And I know there's been something done, I have a 2 CD set of a Black Sabbath best of and "Zero The Hero" sounds fantastic on that set, but not on the remastered album.

Oh and thanks for posting something about "The Elder" in the Kiss fan group so, to comment, I would have to join. Ain't happening, so I'll post it here.

My favorite Kiss album, period.
Chicken...

I've only listened through my earbuds, and it sounds okay. I still haven't listened with my Bose earphones. I wish I had something to compare it to so I could accurately tell you. The CD case is boxed up somewhere so I can't refer to it, maybe there's a remaster date on the actual disc.
