We have kind of let this thread die, so let's bring it back to life. Let's have everyone chime in on their Top 5 Debut Rock Albums of all-time. There's only two rules:
1. Must be an artist's debut album.
2. Must be a rock album (no R&R, Rap, Country or Gospel). You guys know what I mean, I don't have to explain it further, right?
Here's mine to kick it off:
1. Van Halen - Van Halen
2. Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction
3. Boston - Boston
4. Heart - Dreamboat Annie
5. Lynyrd Skynyrd - (Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd)

Revising for "Whistleblower Jon" ...
1 - Van Halen
2 - Foreigner
3 - Boston
4 - The Cars
5 - Toto
You did not have to revise, so I need to know which top 5 you are going with.
1 - Appetite - G n R
2 - Van Halen
3 - Boston
4- Ted Nugent (his debut as a solo artist. If he does not count because of his Amboy Dukes records, then 4th place goes to Tesla)
5 - Mechanincal Resonance - Tesla (or if Ted Nugent not allowed, then Starz is in 5th place.)
Christopher Cross!!? Really? ...Okay, I'm gonna have to go listen...

Ahh, the Montrose...another awesome debut I forgot about it. Great pick, but I won't change mine.
