I used to have the 1990's version on CD, and it was a big let down for me. Up to that point I had and I liked all the band and Chastain's solo releases, but this one just didn't capture my interest. (Maybe because it was the first time he didn't include any Instrumental on the album). It was one of the rare CDs I didn't mind parting with when I crossed the Ocean. If I see the new version up on Spotify I'll give it a spin but I don't know how well the streaming service will reflect these said improvements.

I was skeptical myself but I gave it a shot and was pleased that I did. Hopefully you'll feel the same should you get to hear it.
