Classic Rock Bottom

Okay, so what movies from the year 2011 have you seen? Want to see?

Well, so far that I can remember I've seen:

Get Low starring Robert Duvall about a hermit in the 1930's who goes about having a funeral party BEFORE his death. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but despite my fandom for Duvall, I was disappointed in this movie.

Last night I went to theater and saw the movie Hanna. Saoirse Ronan was good in the title role but otherwise this movie was a let down as well. Cate Blanchett's southern accent was distracting, the quick cut camera editing was annoying and when the reason why everyone wanted Hanna was revealed, all I could think was that they kind of ripped off the comic book back story of Captain America a bit.

Other movies I'm looking forward to seeing are: Green Lantern, Thor, Conan The Barbarian, Fast Five and Beautiful Boy. The last one is about parents who hear about a shooting on a campus where there son goes to school, only to find out it was their son who did the shootings. I saw the trailer on On Demand and it looked intense.

I saw Civil War: Captain America 3 last night, and it was awesome! Much better than Superman v Batman. And it seems like the Spiderman-movie next year will be one to watch. Tom Holland is the best choice for that role so far without a doubt. If you love Marvel (like I do), Civil War won't dissapoint you. Better than Avengers 2, even better than Captain America 2.

I won't see the movie until the weekend it comes out, but I am very interested in the notion that you have that it is better than The Winter Soldier. Because I thought that one was the best movie of the year when it came out.

Also...I'm Team Cap all the way!

When you see the movie, you understand why Iron Man get pissed.

Even though it's a great movie all the way through, I was blown away by the last scenes.

It's definitely a Captain America-movie and not an Avengers-movie.

I saw Alien: Covenant yesterday, and I thought, it was pretty good. Better than Prometheus, even though I kind of liked that movie as well.

The alien-monster is back, both in different shapes, but also the classic one.

"Convenant" is actually in some way the right "successor" to the original Alien-movie and Aliens, and you'll get a lot of answers to questions you may have had, from Prometheus.

Was it better than the best movie I've seen so far in 2017: Guardians Of The Galaxy 2? Well, it was just as good.

I haven't seen Alien: Covenant and it really doesn't draw me to go see it anyway. But I loved Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 so I'm glad you thought AC was as good.
