My introduction to his music (I knew about Alice before) was Welcome To My Nightmare, and today it's still my favorite AC album. After that, in the early 80's he was riding the New Wave, and I did not like it at all. In Yugoslavia, those albums weren't even released. I'm saying this because Yugoslavia was very much open to New Wave. In fact, world journalists agree that the YU-New Wave scene was only second to the British. I know I lived there, yet Alice Copper did not make the cut, until Constrictor.
I forgot about him by this time and, the first time I heard a song from this album was indeed in the Halloween franchise. This album brought the attention back to him, but it was Trash and Hey Stupid that propelled his foray back home. Your assessment here is pretty close to mine.
