Classic Rock Bottom

Not all of these movies are music related, so I apologize for this being off topic, but since so many of us enjoy a variety of music from different eras, I ran across a movie list and found it interesting (I don't like to go off topic very often, but thought this would make for some interesting discussion).

According to a movie critic (I seldom agree with movie critics, just like I seldom agree with music critics), these are the Top 200 worst movies ever. To my amusement, I have seen several of these and disagree with a few of them. Harlem Nights is a masterpiece and to keep this music related, how can anyone hate the excellent soundtrack and merits of "Joe Dirt" lol.

I can't believe that Showgirls is on this list.  Well I oughta....Just turn the sound down and it's a great movie.

Seriously, I'm surprised at:

Red Dawn

Joe Dirt

Road House

I'll admit, the acting is horrendous int Red Dawn and Road House, but I like 'em both.

I hear Road House getting slammed a lot, but I always liked that movie as well. I may be in the minority but I liked "I Spy" as well. Howard the Duck is ranked too high at Number 3, lol.
I thought "Pet Cematary 2" was okay.

Showgirls is awesome...  when muted.

Kidding aside, Gigli shoul be #2 and I agree with #1.  Travolta and Cruise have both become unbearable to me, and for the same reason!

That might be, but Cruise can be one hell of an actor. In "Interview with a Vampire" or what it's called, he is outstanding!!
LOL. The same thing could be said for "Striptease." I am a huge fan of Demi Moore so I figured it would be virtually impossible for me to hate that movie. Demi Moore running around not wearing much, what's not to like?" Low and behold, it still ended up being one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is a truly a sad day when not even Demi and a stripper's pole could save the day, lol. Once again I am bothered that Howard the Duck made it to number 3.  That movie was so awful, you couldn't help but like it.

I am coming back with the Movies series in the future, and I amazingly don't think I have played anything from those movies.

I Spy was brutal because they switched the characters, and it wasn't funny or exciting.

Another in a long line that didn't make it from TV to the movies.

Mike

How did Napolean Dynamite not make this list, lol
Last Action Hero? Wow. Love that movie. I actually have 18 of these on DVD or BD. Showgirls is great, especlally if you watch it with the commentary by the fan. It makes the movie that much better.

There is only one reason you guys are defending Showgirls- and that is the sexed-up red blood coursing through our veins, lol!

Travolta, Cruise and Affleck have become unbearable to me!

And how the hell could a movie called Striptease with Demi Moore in her prime be so incredibly dull- I was going to say a BUST, but that's what I wanted more of.

Maybe a few on the list were tolerable to me, I am ashamed to say, lol!

So many great old movies have been lost to time, but those bombs will probably be around forever!

Pretty good picking on your part Scandal, I wouldn't have had the patience,

Mike

What's bad is I've seen 135 of these.....

And back to "Showgirls" and two words for ya:  Gina Gershon
