I think we ended up with a good solid list that represents. Admittingly, I'm not very familiar with John Sykes. I've heard a little Thin Lizzy, but I was never of fan of David Coverdale's vocals, so I stayed away from the Whitesnake. He obviously good, he was named on a lot of lists & earned the top spot! I'm familiar with the other 4, all are Amazing!!!

I don't see any bad choices here. I'm happy. I would like to hear some of Sykes work though. Any suggestions?

No, all geetarists should be considered. I was thinking Hammett, Poland as well, but went with my list (maybe it's final?)?

And don't forget Tygers Of Pan Tang and Thin Lizzy for Sykes.

Style is not a factor at all. As long as their debut was after 1/1/80 or before 12/31/89 they qualify. Now, where's your top 5 list? C'mon bro, I know you love this stuff. And I still don't remember seeing Whitesnake in Atlanta in 1987. You must be thinking of somebody else, but I do remember you "reminding" me of this before.

I have that DLR album, but I've probably only listened to it once.
