I haven't heard that Craig Goldy album but it might be interesting. I got to meet him after a Dio Disciples show a couple years back.

That is awesome.

The CD is different from anything he ever did before, solo, or otherwise. Vey "moody" almost Doom Metal, mostly Instrumental album. I gave it a superficial listen when I bought it, and it was hard for me to digest it compared to the usual shred/neoclassical fest from Shrapnel in the late '80s. I certainly did appreciate it more the second time around, even though I have to say it again, it's not what one would expect from Goldy, or an Instrumental album for that matter.
