Classic Rock Bottom

Got some British Folk Rock and some British Folklore to begin this closing half.
How would you like some hideous Witch hitting on you and trying to make you her husband?
By the way, therein lies the secret to my success with women- the fact that I am NOT hideous!
Of course, there are a LOT of things I am NOT, lol!
In this tradional old story, she turns the guy into a wyrm, which in Olde English is a dragon.
Now I would think that is a worm, but hey, it's their language- we only improved on it, lol!
And naturally we will have some good old American music included in this chapter.
I'll finish things off with some some songs about a very interesting New Orleans woman who has been examined in books, movies and quite a bit of tuneage.
All things considered, a solid collection of songs known and perhaps new to you in both halves, for the Eve of All Saints or Hallowed Eve or as we now know it Hallow'een.
Trick Or Treat and Happy Halloween everybody!
And Happy Birthday to one special and very sexy lady!

OK, RJ, I'll put it up here.
Be here soon, from 2007.

I absolutely think you should put it here. You know I'll give you my opinion. And yes, Miss Fox would work quite well.

Yeah, in my mind the show about Nothing would be a lot of fun.
But it would involve a lot of digging.
If you are interested, I once did a TWO show series on Johnny Carson.
Rock & Roll and Johnny Carson! Just to see if I could do it!
Plus I have another Halloween show in the archives...one I felt didn't work.
The music was all wrong.
Should I put it here?
I can imagine what comes to mind...something like waking up next to Megan Fox, lol!
That makes it for me.

A show about nothing would be very cool. It's not Puddy, it's some dude that was only on that episode. I looked it up in Wikipedia and the episode is called "The Checks".

Concerning Steeleye Span (I figured I had spelled it wrong earlier), can you imagine what comes to my mind when I hear a song title like "Misty Moisty Morning"?

Dear RJ,
Oh man, I can't remember the other Steeleye Span song or why I played it, lol!
Yeah that's a great one, Alison Gross, but my favorite by them is Misty Moisty Morning.
Check it out if you can.
Glad to introduce you to those Jethro Tull songs, they made a lot more good music than ever gets played on the radio, and Greatest Hits are just someone's opinion, or the ones that sold the most.
I vaguely remember that Seinfeld, was that Puddy?
The last 3 were Marie Laveau by Poppa Celestin, and another about her, Witch Queen Of New Orleans by Redbone, and finally Voodoo Voodoo by LaVern Baker.
And let's not forget the Twilight Zone, lol!
You're right, anything that makes you think of Seinfeld is good.
In fact, I have long thought of doing a show about NOTHING!
Might just happen someday.
Me and my ideas, lol!
Thanks for listening and writing,
Mike

***Spoiler Alert*** Listen before you read this.

Oh man, this show made me think of Seinfeld, but I'll get to that in a minute.

I remember you playing a Steelye Span (I'm not sure how to spell Steelye) song in a previous show. I don't remember thinking much about it, but I really like the one you played here. It was very appropriate and the crash at the end came out of nowhere.

Witches Promise by Jethro Tull is new to me. Here's the thing about JT, everytime you play a song by them that I haven't heard, I like it. I'm not sure why I don't own more of their material. I have a greatest hits and the album Crest Of A Knave, but that's it.

Witchy Woman by the Eagles is such a cool song. It's a shame that we don't have more material from them, given the span of time that they cover. But that brings me to Seinfeld. There is an episode where Elaine's new boyfriend has his own "song". When it comes on the radio, he tells her to be quiet, that's his song, and he goes into this "nobody interrupt me, I'm listening to my song" deal. It's hilarious. The song is Desperado by The Eagles. So Elaine decides she needs a song, and comes up with Witch Woman by The Eagles. It's a hilarious episode, but then again most of them are. Anyway, I always think of it when I hear either of those songs.

I didn't get the names, but the last 3 songs were kinda cool as well.

Any show that makes me think of Seinfeld is a good show in my book.
