Classic Rock Bottom

THIS IS AN ENCORE ORIGINALLY BROADCAST JULY 3, 2012.
When you hear me say it is America's 236th Birthday, kindly substitute 240th
Celebrating the Declaration Of Independence (my favorite document ever!)- older than me, but I'm pretty damned independent too!
I had long had this idea for an opening set for a 4th Of July show, and I finally remembered to do it!
July 4, 1776  we declared our Independence from Great Britain.
Much had taken place leading up to this courageous breakup with the then world's strongest power, England.
So naturally I will start off with a British band, lol!
All kidding aside, the opener was irresistible.
From Rock to Folk to Soul and things in between, it's Music about Revolution and the Aftermath for Independence Day.
Listen to the words, think, and enjoy!

Jon,
You got that Oldspeak down pat, lol!
Before you go, this was the better half.
But I always have something....!
Not like stale Radio.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Actually, I think they would have said "So ye wanteth a revolution, sir?" because that's the way they talked.

I remember this show. I like it.

Ok. I will now go on to the next one.
