ROCKOLLECTIONS: 4TH OF JULY PT.2 END

I remind you this show is two years old, so some of what I say may be slightly dated.
Here's a bit of insight into this Rockollections thing- I had a working idea of how I was going to handle this second half of the show, starting with Schooner Fare and their song, We The People...those being the opening words of the U.S. Constitution.
They mention the Declaration Of Independence in there, and as I am listening to Schooner Fare I get this vague memory of the Fifth Dimension singing the Declaration Of Independence on one of their old albums.
So now I have this overwhelming desire to find it somehow- I haven't thought of it or heard it in years- and I have to play it for you, if only because you probably have never heard it.
I can be one obsessive guy, lol!
To my surprise, I found the old vinyl album very easily, but that working idea I came in with went right out the window.
Thankfully I found a groove and got back on track with some songs about Living In America.
And after that, an ending to this show that I hope you find funny and entertaining.
Happy 4th Of July everyone!
And Happy Birthday America!

Hahahahahaha...I am happy indeed!

Sometimes I correct the spelling when I quote people sometimes not, for myself, I suddenly can't spell "the"- keeps coming out "hte"!

Maybe the LAST PLACE Mets should try soccer.

At least the ball is bigger, lol!

I keep watching 1969 & 1986, that was real fun!

"her it is".....

"blew my head of"......

I missed letters that day!

Honestly, it could have been this show. It just popped into my head on FB. If it WAS you, then you've broken my mind and soul. Hope you're happy with that!

Didn't think it was possible, but my beloved Metsies are getting worse. SWEET!!!!

Happy 4th to you too!!

Jon,
I saw that Declaration Of Independence song post, and after my annoyance at you for stealing my thunder, I figured I was the one you heard play it.
And even you subliminally admit that may be how you remembered it.
I learned you again, lol!
You blew your head of with fireworks last year?
Dynamite is not fireworks me lad, but you must have one helluva celebration, lol!
If I play anything from the 90's or up, it magically becomes a NOT an oldie oldies show!
Happy 4th to you and all my friend,
Mike

I posted that Declaration Of Independence song somewhere recently and her it is! Maybe I subliminally remembered it from this show. Maybe not since I blew my head of with fireworks last year.

Still, a good listen for a repeat show. It's an oldie oldies show.
