ROCKOLLECTIONS: A TRIP TO THE FAIR PT.2

Continuing our Trip, a first song that has Fair in the title, but is actually a Girl's Name- I felt like playing it, thought you might remember it.
Some Music with meaningful lyrics in here.
And yes, I will finally play the Classic song I copped the Series Title from, lol!
Next week, A Trip To The Fair takes a different turn.
Enjoy!

RJ,
Yes, I thought it was a nice batch of songs.
I've always liked that Bee Gees song, and a thoughtful interesting observation on how it sounded like a mash-up of The Bee Gees, The Beach Boys and The Beatles!
For me, the most meaningful song here was the Mark Lindsay doing Jimmy Webb one.
I was not that familiar with it, had put it aside for this series, and when I played it the story in the lyrics jumped out at me.
And I think I got it right!
I would have given it the Golden Pell, but it's your call, lol!
Is this the first triple tie? Maybe not!
A triple tie, and mine didn't make it!
Oh well, I just play the songs, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Jon,
Your powers of prediction have no limits!
How could you ever have known, LOL?
And still thinking this was a re-run?
Always liked Renaissance, and Annie Haslam is great.
Those Renaissance Fairs are running now, even in New York State.
Oh that makes perfect sense, on a college but no alcohol?
Guess the students were all chugging it down, lol!
Nice call on the song, somebody had to think of it, besides me!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Another nice batch of songs.  I've never heard a single one of these.  That Bee Gees song sounded like a mash-up of The Bee Gees, The Beach Boys and The Beatles.

I had a hard time deciding which one to give the Golden Pell to.  So I'm giving one to The Bee Gees, Fairport Convention and Blue Ash.  This was a fine bunch of songs.

Waaa haaa haaa haaa haa!

Renaissance! See? I was right. Woo hoo! WOO HOO!!!!!

Yeah, I've heard this one before, but that Renaissance song is so bad ass I just had to go crazy. Just an incredible voice she has. Incredible.

Funny, there's ads for a Renaissance Fair running now. Went to one in Iowa years ago, but there was no alcohol because it was on a college campus. What a bummer. Still got the see the wenches and dogboy. Those were the times.

Oh well. Nice show.

WHOOHOOHOOHOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
