RJ,
Really? It’s the title track, lol!
Glad I played it for you, it’s got some important lyrics to always bear in mind.
The Christmas tree one was by Ralph McTell, and you previously liked his Streets Of London- a great great song whose vinyl version has disappeared!
And an intro to Phil Ochs to boot.
A couple of people have written me about that Changes by him- how important the song was, and either was their favorite song ever or in their Top 10.
So picking that one was one nice choice!
Oh a head’s up, in Changes Pt.3 is a killer track to me by Cereus Bright.
Another killer is the Psychedelic Namedropping one by Eric Burdon & Animals- so trippy as not to be believed!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and Happy New Year to you and the family,
Mike
Jon,
Oh that New Coke was a clever move eh, lol?
Changes don’t go away, never!
Bowie? Of course!
Don’t Go Messin’ With The Kid, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Funny, I've never heard that Harrison track, even though I do own the album. I like it.
I like that song about the fairy on the Christmas tree too.
Of course, the Bowie tune is a classic!
I'm typing as I'm listening, and that next track is killer. It's so soothing. What a great song for you to know.
Phil Ochs. Never heard him, though I've heard the name.
The rest was cool too.
I'm gonna have to say the Phil Ochs song was my favorite. Great job brother.
Sure you can stop them! Just don't accept them and they'll go away. Remember New Coke?
Surprised that you played the Bowie tune.
Ok, I'm not surprised. Just messin' with you.
There are no birthdays today
