WEll, I listened, but I guess I was distracted. Maybe just having one of those days. So I'm close to speechless tonight...plus I can't remember any of the songs now.
One song did stand out, the one by Dion. I think you said Christmas Baby Please Come Home. That one was a definite winner. Do there's your Golden Pell Winner as well.
Merry Christmas my friend. I'll be in a better listening mood Wednesday. I promise.
Yep, you're right. These are songs that I'm not forced to listen to while at someone's house on Xmas Eve, waiting for some drama to unfold as I sit patiently in a corner, watching. No conversations to join since nobody has anything interesting to say, it's just the same old small talk and I hate small talk. It's just a waste of time. Try to get someone to talk about music and then I realize they don't know much at all so I find the easy way out and go outside to smoke and then trying to figure out a way to sneak back inside so I'm not noticed.
Before that, I'll be at church, but not really. Why everyone else is inside, I'll be outside in the parking lot, reading a book or fooling around with the Kindle Fire. When it's all over, I'll be told tat I missed a really fun time and I'll have to explain (again) that I had lots of fun with my book and/or Kindle and I'm not believed, but it's the truth. Funny thing is when I see other people sitting in their cars, maybe this year we should all get together, build a fire in the parking lot and imbibe.
Nice show, I liked that last song.
There are no birthdays today
