ROCKOLLECTIONS: CHRISTMAS PARTY 2015 PT.4 END

Had the Christmas Tree lit for this show, that always inspires me and gives it a nice feeling.
This is the wrap-up for the Annual Christmas Party this year.
Sorry I left out something for Hanukkah, it is usually in tandem with Christmas but not this year- it slipped by me.
Thought I'd stick with Santa Claus for the majority of this closing Chapter.
Until the end, where I have chosen a couple where The Message Is In The Music!
I sincerely wish you all the Merriest Of Christmases!
And God Bless Us Every One!

RJ,
I like that Chris Isaak tune too, clear he is doing Elvis.
It's Santa Claus Is Skaing To Town and it is a trip, lol!
I felt better doing this one, better than the 60's party one.
And The Kinks for the Golden Pell.
You have made the PERFECT choice, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my friend,
Mike

That Chris Isaak tune really does sound like Elvis.  I liked it.

Santa Claus Is Skying To Town was a trip.

Really not a bad tune here.  Dave Barnes, The Kinks, They Might Be Giants, The Beach Boys, John Prine and The Moody Blues, all good tunes.  Most of the show was pretty upbeat.

Gonna have to go with The Kinks for the Golden Pell.

Nice job Mike.

Jon,
Come on, snow shaking water ball.
You know what Prine means, lol!
The Kinks one is great- how did you know about Ray showing up at a Dave show?
I didn't hear anything.
They had some battles onstage, lol!
I'll go deep in my head and presume you mean Chris Isaak and John Prine for sounding like Elvis and Dylan.
While snow shaking water ball is still roaming throughout yours, LOL!
Yeah, yeah, snow globe...go ahead smarty!
And here you are at your finest Christmas moment, LOL!
"Merry Christmas, I guess."
Oh man, hahahahahahahaha!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and Merry Christmas...I guess,
Mike

"Snow shaking water ball"? Yeah, that really stuck out to me.

This was a good show. Love that song by The Kinks and what makes it even better is that Ray showed up at a Dave show within the last couple weeks and joined him onstage for "You Really Got Me" and it sounded quite good. There's rumor going around that they're getting back together, so maybe there's new Kinks music on the horizon?

Funny about this show, there's a song that sounds like Elvis and one that sounds like Dylan. But they weren't.

Yeah, "snow shaking water ball" is still roaming throughout my head. It was just odd.

How about "snow globe"?

Oh, well.

Merry Christmas, I guess.
