Narrow Gate (La Porte Etroite) eh?
But I've never heard of the group Paris, that's what I need you guys for, lol!
And Bob Welch was the leader, between his exit from Fleetwood Mac and "French Kiss", that IS amazing!
Mike
Like the Beatles song. My first girlfriend was named Michelle, and that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. The Fairport Convention was pretty cool.
But those next four songs or so were just too French filled for my tastes.
The 10cc song was interesting. I've never heard it, but it's a far cry from their pop stuff. It's a massive, theatrical song. And I think it will get the Golden Pell.
What's next? Mexican class?
Why yes, Paris did have a French song, "Narrow Gate (La Porte Etroite)" off their debut.
And who was the leader of the group? Why, Bob Welch! And the two Paris albums came between his exit from Fleetwood Mac and "French Kiss".
Amazing how things work!!!!
I remembered another song when this show started! "Voulez-Vous" by ABBA! Will you play it?
No. You didn't.
I'm not a huge fan of Weird Al, but do like his opening credit song/scene in "Spy Hard" and really like "UHF" because it's so stupid, yet so funny.
Forgot about that Beatles song.
That Fairport Convention song was familiar, but not the French version. Heard it somewhere else and couldn't figure out where. Guess I know now, maybe.
I've heard that Ames Brothers song before, but don't think it was by the Ames Brothers.
Catwoman! She didn't mention bats for some reason.
That 10cc song is really cool. Whenever I hear 10cc, I think of Godley and Creme for some reason. And then I start crying because I'm so confused.
This is it for this series? You could have played something by Paris. Or something off "Paris" by Supertramp.
Bummer.
