If George was the Quiet One, John Lennon had to be the Loud One.
Dec. 8th is the anniversary of John's death.
I don’t like to play the same stuff as everybody else.
So while I will play Imagine, it’s Take 1 of Imagine- not what you are used to hearing!
And these will all be quality Outtakes and Alternate Versions or even Demos.
I’ll have a nod to John’s love for the Old Rock & Roll.
Ending with a beautiful song about that night that always touches me by Christine Lavin.
And just a little sweet bit of tape from 1976.
I miss those two guys and wish they were still around.
They were Beatles, and I am forever grateful to that group!
Rest In Peace Lads!

Now what we have here...is a case of Cheap Trick liking John Lennon more than this Jon guy, LOL!
Don't BRUUUUUUUUUUUCE him!
Mike
Well....I do now? And that's why it's decent for a John Lennon song? Yeah?
Jon,
It’s well known?
Don’t BRUUUUUUUUCE him, I like John, lol!
I didn’t know Cheap Trick played behind him, news to me- and they did on another song too.
Did you know about that?
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
Sorry, as it's well known that I'm not a big JL fan. Figures the best song here is the one featuring Cheap Trick. Who woulda thunk?
