RJ,
Not in a Halloween mood eh- well the kids will get you there, lol!
That was some cool screaming, and like I told Jon, the thought struck and I said it.
It's stream of consciousness thing again, that's cool too.
I Put A Spell On You by CCR, who doesn't like Fogerty?
Those were uptempo songs, as was the whole half hour.
Voodoo Woman came out in 1970, and that band Stokes and the Nighthawks got themselves play on FM, they were rockers.
After Louis, it was It's Your Voodoo Working, a real good song.
Voodoo Boogie and Voodoo In My Basement did run together seamlessly, and a shocker it was the Spoonful right?
The 2nd I Put A Spell On You by Screamin' Jay- he would be wheeled onstage in a coffin, come out and do his show, lol!
And Blue Oyster Cult wins the coveted Golden Pell!
Nice choice.
For me, it was either that or It's Your Voodoo Working.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Jon,
I don't know, it was from an album- and I shortened the track, it goes for 1:40.
Perv? Why that was a spontaneous and damn funny line, lol!
See now, you gave me awesome and immediately took it away.
Well, I am a Legend In My Own Mind, lol!
Who do that voodoo that you do?
I do.
Yeah, Louis Armstrong and BOC in the same half hour, that was a trip, lol!
I am trying to get coulrophobia, I'll let you know how that turns out.
I wasn't scared either, it was just fun.
But since you think that scream is classic, and maybe you can find out who did it, I'll send it to you.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Ugghhhh...Halloween, not really in the mood, but here goes (typing as I go):

  • Really cool cryin' and screamin'. :-)
  • I Put A Spell On You by CCR.  Okay, that's a good song to start with.  Fogerty is one of the most unique vocalists in the history of rock music, and a pretty good and unique guitar player to boot.
  • Don't know this next one.  I'll take you to the voodoo something...meh.  Sounds like a novelty song.  Don't mind the Beatlesque guitar solo though. Hey, at least it was short.
  • Don't know this one either.  Somethin' else about voodoo.  I think you played Voodoo by Godsmack last year or the year before, so I doubt it will be following this up.  Sax solo.
  • Next track sounds promising..until the vocals kick in.  Maybe not so much.  He said "mammar", not mamma. Voodoo Woman I'm guessing is the title. This was actually better than the previous two, especially the smokin' guitar solo.  And the keys. Simon Stokes and the Nighthawks.
  • Louie Armstrong.   Again I say...meh.
  • Don't know who this is...Voodoo Work must be the title.  More sax.  Not a bad little song.
  • It's an oldies show.  Nothing wrong with that, by the way.  Got the Voodoo Boogie?  Oops, lost all contact at 17:41.  Nothin'.  Nada.  Zip.  All gone.  There, it seems to be back.  See if we can finish the show.
  • Next song sounds like it came pretty much from the same place as last time.  Still, not bad.  I like the backing vocals.  Voodoo in my basement is what it sounds like he's sayin'.  Uhhhh, this dude doesn't sound safe.  Hmmm, The Loving Spoonful.
  • I Put A Spell On You part two.  Man, this guy is getting very emotional.  One word, weird.
  • Okay, now this sounds a bit evil for some reason.  Just that one part.  The rest just sounds plain cool.  Killer guitar work all over this.  Screams by Blue Oyster Cult.  I'm sure I've heard that one, I just don't particularly remember it.  So it qualifies and wins the coveted Golden Pell.

Nice scream. Who did that?

Notice you kinda turned perv there for a minute. Something on your leg? A couple doing the nasty somewhere? Mind in the gutter!

Nope. No spell. You're just awesome.

Oh, I kid. I KID!

Who do that voodoo that you do?

Louis Armstrong and BOC....classic!

No costumes care you? Bummer. If you had coulrophobia, I could have immense fun. But I shouldn't since it's a serious issue.

Whatever.

This was a bunch of cool songs. I wasn't scared though. But still need to know who did that scream. That's classic.
