ROCKOLLECTIONS: HARVEST MOON BALL PT.2

Opening up this second chapter for our Harvest Moon Ball, a song that has been interpreted by very many artists and in very many ways.
I will play you the original version, a Rocker from 1958.
Then I will play one of those interpretations- as the song is turned from a Rocker into a sultry Song Of Seduction, a remarkable transition.
That will open a set of what I'll call Romantic Seductive Dancing.
Oh by the way, we can take off those Tuxes and Gowns now.
I will take you next to where the Fields and Farms are, beginning with a song I first heard about 10 years ago.
If you can't dance or move to it, or at least tap your foot, you are deceased, lol!
With too many songs to let go of, our Harvest Moon Ball will continue next week.
Simply more good fun, nothing taken too seriously in a too serious world.
Again, Let's Dance!

Jon,
You weren't in much of a dancing mood?
Couldn't you have waited for one, lol?
It is a Dance Song Series, with my own quirky picks.
I will have a whole set of Music for people like you- those who Do Not Dance!
Hey, I used to be one of  those drunks at wedding parties or at the bars, lol!
I only used my hip, didn't try to be that!
I never try, it's why I am as I am, lol!
Pretty good rant, almost up to my standard!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and remember a set for you,
Mike

I guess I wasn't in much of a dancing mood today. Except for a song or two, I just didn't get the vibe I got from the first show. But I did notice how it went from moon songs to dance songs so I guess this is a dance song series.

But that's ok. It doesn't matter that I don't dance. If asked, I refuse. If begged, I refuse. If paid, I refuse. Dancing isn't in my blood and it never will be. Not that I have anything against dancing, especially the professionals. No, not those drunks at wedding parties or at the bars. I'm talking people like Gene Kelly. That's cool. Drunk people dancing is not, especially if they're trying to be "hip".

Ok. Guess I got that out of my system.
