ROCKOLLECTIONS: KENTUCKY DERBY PT.2 END

As we conclude our Musical Kentucky Derby, there is a Horse I would bet on but he is for a very good reason not on the field, not a contender.
I'll play a couple of songs that are not only about Horses, but RACEHORSES!
Then what’s that expression, “You can lead a horse to water, but…”?
Followed by a song that seems to bring out strong emotions in people, both for and against.
Finally, and all out of breath, I will leave you with a perfectly named song that was # 2 on the charts in 1968.
Let me know if I came in Win, Place or Show.
I ran my ass off, lol!
Good luck picking the winner at the Kentucky Derby.
May he or she go on to the Triple Crown!

Well, I hate to admit it, but I like the Cowsills!
I've played them, but who knows, maybe you got something by the Osmonds!

I'll post the Osmonds song on one of your next posts. It will blow your mind.

I would have guessed Wildfire would depress you, you need to go to your quiet place, lol!

YOU BOUGHT TWO OSMOND ALBUMS!

And I was talking about hip!

Now I want you to run into traffic, lol!

I posted just a few minutes ago about never having played an Osmond song on a show.

The mere mention of horses has sent you down this path, LOL

And now you’ll probably have to post one of them in Left Field!                                                           And all this because of a show about horses. Unbelievable!

OH NO!!! Unbelievable!

You probably bet on the wrong Horse in the Derby too, lol!

This was one of your funnier writings, you’re good at it.

Thanks for the listen and writing, I am feeling SO guilty,

Mike

Of course you would play that Michael Murphy which now takes the place of the depressing song from the first part. Everytime I hear that song, I want to run into traffic. Too bad there was nobody driving on the street. Now I have to be depressed for the rest of the day.

You know, you made me do something I never expected I would ever, EVER do.

I was reading more about The Osmonds' "Crazy Horses" and was intrigued by the album review so I BOUGHT AN OSMOND ALBUM THIS MORNING.

Not only that, it also includes "The Plan" which is the followup to CH.

So......

I JUST BOUGHT TWO OSMOND ALBUMS!

All because of this show. Sure, I don't believe you've ever played an Osmond song on any of your shows, but it's the damn mention of horses that have sent me down this path.

Not only that. now I'll probably have to post one of those albums in L/F. That means the two or so people that take the time to listen to what I post will not have to listen to The Osmonds.

All of this because of a show about horses. Unbelievable!
