ROCKOLLECTIONS: LOVE AND MARRIAGE PT.8

To open this Love & Marriage Chapter, I have a few familiar characters we know from Rock & Roll Songs who get Married.
Then, as I was browsing through my Asian and Russian Bride Catalogue, it occurred to me I could play a song about that too, lol!
And to close the Episode, I was thinking about how Wedding Couples put so much thought into that First Dance Song, a favorite that means something to them.
So I'll play a few I remember hearing and like, plus I have the ones you should NEVER EVER play at your Wedding Reception.
Enjoy the Music and please leave your Gift Envelope as you exit, lol!
The Finale next week!

Yeah, I heard it on Spreaker but not on Podomatic.

Just means Spreaker is weird, and not what I am talking about.

Good, the world will never know my screwup, lol!

Listen to it...at the very end. You complete the show, there's  second or two of silence and then there's you again saying what you just said. I ain't lyin'.

Jon,

What does that Dance have to do with Safety?
It was pretty awful, and come on, there is no safety for the cast of Game Of Thrones, lol!

And no, that's not it, there is no repeat at the end of the half.

What do you mean? Something skipped while you were playing?

Not on my master copy.

My error did happen however near the end!

Are you talking aout the very end of the show and the repeat? I heard it when I listened and thought it was my computer. It isn't!

And here's The Safety Dance....

Jon,
The bird has left the building...and taken Chris Elliott with him!
What the hell happened to that guy, lol?
Haven't even thought about him in years.
How can you live where you do?
Of course there's something out there, something scary- EVERYONE KNOWS BUT YOU!!!
Worse...much worse...than rabbits or leopards!
I don't do Dances that have definite steps, I just get up and shake it!
And what is The Safety Dance? Wait, I don't want to know, lol!
We've talked about this I think- I like the Carpenters now too, but I didn't in the 70's because I thought I was way too cool!
Oh I love those Asian and Russian Bride Catalogues.
I string 'em along and at the last minute me and my alias are gone man, lol!
You know I am on vacation, and I was very late with that show- the radio station even asked if I was alright because they hadn't gotten the show, they finally did a day and a half late.
In my haste, I made a big mistake in this chapter, and I didn't even notice it when I played it back before sending!
Oh but I notice it now, and I am surprised no one...not one single person...has called me on it.
I thought YOU especially would be the guy, LOL!
But you thought it was a nice show, oblivious to my failure.
Are you SURE you listened, lol?
I am sure you did, so thanks for that, and writing,
Mike

The bird has left the building.

It was quite simple, actually. I opened the garage door that Tuesday morning and it found its way out. But why didn't it do this when I opened the door the previous evening? Was something out there, something scary? Did that scary thing go away making the bird feel safe enough to leave it's little haven? I don't know.

What's strange is onm that Tuesday morning, I watched a rabbit run across the neighbors lawn and then it ran back. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I saw the leopard. Then it made complete sense. That's the funny thing about life.

So that song shouldn't be played at weddings? Don't understand considering you could dance like this:

One song that should be played at every wedding reception is "The Safety Dance". As a matter of fact, that song needs to be played any any party. Hell, it needs to be played at any gathering consisting of five or more people.

I like the Carpenter's. Didn't in the 70's because it wasn't manly to like them then. Now it is because I say so.

"Then, as I was browsing through my Asian and Russian Bride Catalogue...."  Aren't those catalogs COOL? Great reading and it only costs a buck for a bride!!!!!!!

Nice show Mike!
