This is it, the Grand Finale of the Salute To Elvis, a Series I should have done years ago!
Presley was the Rockabilly Cat, the Sexy Threat Posed By Rock & Roll, and he gave it a Face!
And he went from a Two-Room Shack to the Mansion On The Hill in doing so!
This last Chapter I'll have Songs About Elvis of a more Personal Nature.
And Two Final Words- I had one planned, but as the Series went on I thought of another.
It was a lot of fun for me playing songs that brought back Memories, and no doubt introducing some that were unknown.
For me, the best story about Elvis is when he showed up at Sun Studios he said, "I Don't Sound Like Nobody"!
He was RIGHT!

Jon,
It's Jimmy Webb, not much of a singer, his songs are usually done by others.
But it has a beginning, meets Elvis in a Vegas hotel and goes from there.
All good songs in there, even sucky Bruce!
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
So that first song there. It sounded like someone opened a book to a random page and sang the words. Something with that song does not work. It's like he's trying too hard or something.
There are no birthdays today
