ROCKOLLECTIONS: ST. PATRICK'S DAY PT.2 END

It's going on right now as I write this, St. Patrick's Day, and the marchers are parading.
It is also my Irish friend Dave Kenny's Birthday.
Oh the stories we could tell- drinking in Irish Bars up in the Bronx, all boroughs actually, all cities for that matter!
And they loved us in Canada, lol!
One night we invented Drunk Rock...a good story I must tell some day.
Continuing with my Roots Music, songs I used to get loaded to, but no more.
In fact, on April 6th it will be 20 years since I quit drinking.
Enjoy the Music, I even have a couple of Ex-Beatles in here!
Happy St. Patrick's Day Everybody!

RJ,
It's called Whiskey On A Sunday by the Irish Rovers- guy drinks buttermilk all week but on Sunday look out, lol!
And the Golden Pell to Schooner Fare- you got it right and spelled it right.
Finnegan's Wake!
One day I am going play a song by them that will leave you speechless!
This is very funny, "I believe I got loaded just listening to this".
A contact drunk, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Didn't catch the title or artist on the first track, but they mentioned buttermilk, so no thanks.

This was an interesting set.  Probably the best song overall here was Emerald by Thin Lizzy.  Lennon's track was pretty good too.

But easily I would give the Golden Pell to Schooner Fare (no idea if that's exactly who you said it was) for Finnegan's Wake.  That song was way cool.

Oh yeah, I was working and I believe I got loaded just listening to this.

Jon,
Buttermilk and whiskey will mix, as long as you wait all week, lol!
How come you are so AMAZED that I played "Emerald"?
It's an Irish group, and Ireland is the Emerald Isle.
Besides, you should know by now it is difficult to predict where I might go, lol!
Seems like you must like it.
That was his lovely wife, Yoko Ono, on that Lennon song.
I'll say no more about it...except maybe it would have been better without her?
Took me a while to figure out FBB.
With all the writing you do, you have to skimp with me and use just letters thereby making my brain ache, lol?
That was a serious song for the Four Bitchin' Babes, they are funny half the time.
I played it because of the Irish bodhran in it.
And yes...yes...I PROUDLY PLAYED "EMERALD", LOL!
Thanks for the listen and writing, I PLAYED "EMERALD",
Mike

Drink buttermilk all week and whiskey on the weekend? That won't mix.

YOU PLAYED "EMERALD"???????

I.......am........AMAZED!!!!!

Who was the female singing on that Lennon song? She was pretty bad. Hopefully that doesn't offend anyone.

I like that FBB song! I like them more and more that you play 'em.
