On Feb. 9th 1964, the Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time.
I watched it as a kid, and it's an odd feeling knowing what you did PRECISELY on a given date over a half century ago!
In fact, it's never happened to me before!
As I recall, it was the first of 3 consecutive weeks of appearances for those guys from Liverpool on the Sullivan show.
And I'll continue here with some more of the Original Artists who made their contributions to the British Invasion.
Enjoy the Music...it's History now, lol!

Hahahahaha!!!
I agree, I am a miserable prick!
That nice guy stuff on the show, I am a phony bastard, LOL!
Nobody does.....
He IS?
I haven't heard much about him.
He probably wouldn't like ME, LOL!
Always thought he was a douche, find out he's really nice.
Old movie? Guess so, it came out in '78, still funny as hell though.
Jon,
We did?
Tell the truth, don't you want to punch him in face, lol?
Is that an old movie, about the Beatles coming here?
Hey, all questions, lol!
Thanks for listening,
Mike
We discussed Eric Burdon before.
And you need to watch "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".
There are no birthdays today
