When iTunes imported it, it had the proper name eh?
That's a pain, having to find it and name it.
Isn't it easier though when you do it immediately after downloading, no waiting, it's right there?
See, I don't even HAVE iTunes, lol!
Okay, I have it now, but it's kind of aggravating. I have to download it, then open it in iTunes, which imports it. The problem is then finding it in iTunes. But I did and I renamed it. It's in as a song, not a podcast, so that's where I have to go to find it. Hopefully can listen tomorrow.
Yep. I download Podomatic. Maybe I'll try the other.
That's strange, I thought you could drag to any player.
And as I say, I am surprised I was on iTunes, wonder why I am not now?
Guess you mean that old WLSO place.
Hey, the same goes for Podomatic AND Soundcloud?
It's easy to download the show, but for some reason, I can't just drag it to iTunes. Don't know why. I had it figured out as I got the first half of last week's show on it, but cannot for the life of me get the second half on it. I may fiddle with it some more tonight.
It was real easy when Rockollections was on iTunes. But since it was dropped from the place you were, it has no longer been there.
"I’m gonna tackle this series starting today. I see there are 8 parts, and part 1 is “What is life?”. Part 2, according to part 1, will be about giving birth. I presume part 8 will be about death. So that leaves 5 parts that I’m very interested to see where you take it.
For part 1, a perfect starting song that, although I’ve heard it several times, I can never seem to remember that it’s George Harrison. And I’ve always loved Dire Straits “Walk Of Life”, and what a great video to go with this song.
Of the songs I’m not familiar with, I really like Life Is A Carnival, Life Is A Ministroni (which I have no idea how to spell), and Sha Boom was wonderful. I love the contrast between the higher pitched voices and the bass voice, that’s awesome.
And I was guessing Jethro Tull on the final song, but only because of the flute.
Great start.
By the way, are my comments too long?"
It took a few minutes for me to realize that I've heard this before, so, although I listened again, I just copied my comments from the first airing. Basically, I can't listen at work anymore unless the episode is on my iPod. And that's not easy now that the show isn't on iTunes. That's why I have yet to hear the last part of the Christmas show. I'm gonna try to get to it, but I'm still trying to figure out an easy way to get the shows on my iPod.
So, I'll take a stab at who was played:
George Harrison
Dire Straits
The Band
10cc
don't know
don't know
don't know
Jethro Tull
I didn't do anything wrong this past year. I didn't do anything which doesn't make it right or wrong. Itr makes it just as "is", which is fine.
I think that was The Band. Now I wonder.
Make me hand like this. Shameful.
SHAMEFUL!
Nice show, though. I quite rather enjoyed it and am enjoying it again as I listen to it AGAIN.
There are no birthdays today
