ROCKOLLECTIONS: THE FASHION SHOW PT.5

The Rockollections Fashion Show rolls on with a Musical Look at Pants, Trousers, Slacks, Jeans, whatever you want to call them.
Even Half Pants, lol!
I can be very mischievous, and I remembered a true story about a song I kept singing while visiting Amish country.
I’ll play it in here, as well as a few of the usual surprises.
Think you know a few Pants Songs?
See if you can anticipate the ones I thought of, it’s Free-Form Radio!
This will be a fun one!

Jon,
Hey I know that reference, I love that movie, haven't seen it in a long time.
Woody Harrelson comes to mind.
You're right, it had nothing to do with pants, but it was the last song and I went in another direction.
I wanted to play Devil With A Blue Dress, and a different version, and I chose Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce, lol!
I actually did listen to Blue Jean by David Bowie and nixed it.
Johnny Cash is still VERY cool!
That first song provided a training ground for Bob Gaudio and Al Kooper, for that reason alone it deserved a play.
Are Short Sorts banned now, lol?
You do write funny Jon, always make me laugh more than once.
Like with these- "no sirree bobbieeeeeee, Okie dokie smokie"
Hahahahahahaha!!!
It's insane!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Yeah. Don't make fun of the Amish. They're cool. Plus there might be one that's a good bowler.

Quite a few songs about pants but Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce just stunk and had nothing to do with pants. NOTHING.

See, you could have played "Blue Jean" by David Bowie which also has nothing to do with pants but has more to do with pants than that guy who I shall not mention again today. Once is enough.

Johnny Cash is pretty cool. Everytime I hear one of his songs, I just think it's cool. Don't know why. Probably because he is.

That first song on this show is just silly. WOn't be able to get way with something like that today, no sirree bobbieeeeeee.

Okie dokie smokie.
