You guys!
I am a night person, I might be STILL UP at 5:30 AM, LOL!
Like Jon, I don't use an alarm clock. Well, at least prior to the last two weeks. But I decided to start getting up at 5:30 and exercising six days a week, so now I do set my alarm for 5:30, but I usually get up before it goes off anyway.
Nah, I'' find the damn album somehow, someway.
APP? Alan Parsons Project, dammit!
It depends, I usually fall asleep anywhere between 10-11:30 and am up by 6 at the latest. One day it'll catch up to me. Sleep is for the weak!
Oh, one more thing. When I was in college, a buddy of mine and I went on a class trip to Indianapolis to visit a drug company. We boarded the bus at 5am and immediately started drinking, him more than me. I watched as we got further down the road, and he continued drinking to the point he finally went to sleep, his cup creeping ever so closely to falling, until it finally did. But of course, it was empty by then. It was about a 10 to 11 hour trip. We got to the hotel and somehow he got to his room. Everybody did so, then we reconvened at the supper that was put on by the drug company. Hal was no where to be found. Never showed up all night.
Next morning, he's right there, bright and early, ready to go. I asked him what happened to him. He said he got to his room and fell on the bed, falling asleep. He wakes up, looks outside, it's dark, the clock said 6. He said he didn't know whether it was 6am or 6pm, so he just went back to sleep. That's the only time I've seen that be an issue for someone.
Mike, one band that I have come to like so much more over the last few years is Pink Floyd. And the song you led off with is no different. It's just really cool. And once again, you have knocked it out of the park with a Joe Jackson tune. I think every time you play him, I mention how I don't have any of his work, but I always seem to like the song you play. And once again, it's from Look Sharp. I have got to get around to picking that album up. You are forcing me to do so.
The Billy Joel song, This Is The Time, is one of my favorites of his. It has such cool guitar tone and playing. The guitar actually sounds like a windy beach to me. That's how cool it is.
All this was great, but I'm going Prog for the Golden Pell. That would be More Time by Gypsy. What a terrific song you played there. Nice job.
Oh, I almost forgot, you could have played One More Time by Lynyrd Skynyrd, an awesome song.
And finally, The Bay City Rollers were just an answer to a Jeopardy question...
And now, finally for real, I'm guessing you recorded this before you found out about Bowie. Now's the perfect time for you to do a couple of shows dedicated to his career. I know I'd like to hear it.
Not a bad song here, at all whatsoever.
I really liked that Gypsy song so much so that I decided I wanted the album and then saw the price and that went out the window. $30? C'mon. I shall wait until someone accidentally prices it wrong and then I will pounce and take advantage of their misfortune.
No, I've never set my alarm to PM instead of AM. I have rarely used an alarm clock anyway, I wake up when I need to unless there were those days that I worked until midnight and had to be up by 4 am. Then I would use an alarm.
Don't know why I brought that up, but you started it.
This might be the best series yet. There's still time for APP, so I'll just be patient.
There are no birthdays today
