ROCKOLLECTIONS: VOL.1- THE ORIGINALS PT.1

It's simple this time.
There are many songs we know very well, maybe were Big Hits.
And some were Originally done by other solo artists or groups.
In a lot of these cases, that is a big surprise, unknown to us.
In other cases, we know or have heard about these Originals.
That's it, I'll be playing them...simple as that.
One great memory, there is a version of a Folk Ballad in here with such great acoustic guitar that Engineer Ken Stanley and I flipped over it.
It just arrived at the station one day, unexpected and a real find.
Enjoy!

Jon,

I doubt now, but then every actual flip I've ever done was unintential, lol!

There is no plan, you just listen and be entertained...if possible.

Think I stated I went with the Young Rascals and Sam Cooke, so we agree.

Funny line about Rod's albums, lol!

Nice to know I was right for once, and it's Josh Rouse with that great geetar work!

You gotta write a book, filled with made up stories like your flip and damages.

No donations, but think of the book's royalties, lol!

Thanks for the listen and writing,

Mike

You actually did a flip? Wild. Wonder if you could do one now.

So we have to say which one is our favorite? Is that the plan?

1) The Youngish Rascals because it's more PEPPY

2) Sam Cooke. Don't really like Rod's version, even when I first heard it I knew it was a cover. Well, half of his albums are covers anyway.

3) This one was tough and I will go with Josh Rawsh or however you spell his name. It's all because of the geetar, you were right (for once) about that. Hey, I did a flip as well but landed wrong and shattered my coccyx, femur and trachea. Now I'm in the hospital, waiting for a coccyx, femur and trachea donor. Please donate!
