ROCKOLLECTIONS:VOL2- COVERED BY THE BEATLES PT.2

I'll finish the album, With The Beatles, right away.
I still can't get over the fact that album was released on the day President Kennedy was assassinated!
Then I'll move on to what was the cause of much confusion and many differences over here in the U.S.A.
The Beatles released singles and EP's in England with songs they never put on albums.
But they were on albums in a mishmash over here, so that's why I am using the UK releases as my guide.
For those who don't know, EP stands for Extended Play- not a single, not an album.
A sort of hybrid usually consisting of TWO songs on each side.
We had them here too, but not as consistently as other countries.
So that is what we spend most of out time with for this episode- The Long Tall Sally EP.
Guess what song I'll play first, lol?
Only 3 of the 4 songs were Beatle Covers, but I found a reason to play that John Lennon 4th song.
Until we do it again, I hope you enjoy what I have presented here.
Happy Listening!

I liked this, so I'll use it again- here are the links Back To The Days Of Beatlemania And Before, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

I've heard good things about 10, have 8 on the laptop.

But I LOVE XP, lol!

XP? Wow.

10 isn't horrible, but it seems that I run into problems every now and then. Luckily, they get fixed.

Oh man, well you could just wear dirty clothes, lol!

Plumbing pays better than college!

you know, I am still hanging in there with XP!

Well, it got worse.

The installer tried to remove a hose and it cracked the hot water valve so there's water dripping into the sink and we can't get a plumber here until Thursday so the new washer is just sitting there, not hooked up.

We now have to go to a laundromat.

Yeah, I had some comp problems about a month ago, got them worked out. Windows 10 is NOT da bomb!

Jon,
More covers, same show!
You smelled rubber too, lol?
You sound very knowledgeable about this whole laundry business!
OH NO, PIECES OF RUBBER!
Was it delivered?
I wanted to tell you about my problems, lol!
I was at computer when suddenly I seemed to lose control of the cursor, like somebody else was controlling ot.
I said shit on that, and had to struggle to hit restart.
It DIDN'T, LOL!
And I posted something new.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks for the listen and writing, you're nuts, lol,
Mike

More covers.

Sheesh.

So, I was doing a load last week and for some time the spin cycle has been VERY LOUD. We had an issue with the washer a couple months ago, I smelled burning rubber, someone came and fixed something but the spin cycle was still REALLY LOUD. But, it did it's job.

Anyway, last week it was going thru it's REALLY LOUD spin cycle and I smelled burning rubber again and just let it go since only a few minutes were left. When it was done, I opened the door and smoke came out and the clothes smelled like, well, burnt rubber. I tossed them in the dryer and used TWO Bounce sheets and they came out smelling fine, so no big deal.

But, in the washer I noticed some pieces of rubber and some other things and there was also bits of things in the sink where the washer empties out. I think it's fried, didn't want to go the fix-it route again so got  a new one (which will be delivered today, remember?). I think the washer is only 7 years old so it's a bummer.

Oh, well.

At least I posted something new. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
