ROCKOLLECTIONS: VOL2- ODDS & ENDS PT.1

Alright, alright, you will hear me say it's July 19th in here- a tipoff that it's a re-run from 2011.
I was busy and had my Personal Holiday these past days and couldn't find the time for a new show.
But I had fun, and this show will reflect that and be fun- a relaxed, chilled out edition of Rockollections with a lot of Music and little of me.
There are hundreds of ideas in my head for shows, and some ideas have been floating around in there for years...hell, decades!
That's the case with this first half.
It's likely the phrase Teddy Bear's Picnic has entered your life in some way, shape or form.
But did you know that there actually ARE Teddy Bear's Picnic celebrations across the country?
Around the world actually- they even have them in Ballymoney, Ireland.
I hope you enjoy what was a bit of a challenge, but a Labor Of Love, finding a varied, diverse set of music for the given topic.
It's all music, it's all fun!

Jon,
Bears? A Theme of Bears?
Why would you think that?
I don't think I have anything by Zebra- see, that's what I need you for.
It really didn't have anything to do with Bears.
The secret code hidden in each song had to do with Nyquil, LOL!
You definitely need to go on a picnic, just not yet my friend.
Thanks for the listen and writing, and being so dependable,
Mike

I've heard the Teddy Bear Picnic song, but thankfully do not know anyone who actually has a teddy bear picnic. That is just too weird.

Noticed that almost all the songs had to do with or mentioned bears. Therefore, I sensed a theme. A them of bears. I could be wrong since you did not play "Bears" from Zebra. If you HAD played that, I would be 99.99% certain that this was a show dedicated to bears.

The more I think about it, maybe this show had nothing to do with bears. Maybe I completely missed out on what the theme (if any) of this show was.

Maybe I need to go on a picnic?
