ROCKOLLECTIONS: VOL2- THE BRITISH INVASION PT.1

A New Year and a New Look at the British Invasion.
February always reminds me of the Beatles arrival in America in 1964, and that started the onslaught.
A good thing too, because Radio and Rock & Roll were suffering from a long period of Forty Miles Of Bad Road!
I'll have some Musical Questions, some songs that will test your memory- and given a choice between Do's and Dont's, I'll always go with Dont's.
Give a listen, and you'll know what I mean!

Oh that's right, I forgot your rules.

Been a while since I got a Golden Pell, lol!

I didn't pick one of the last two because I've heard them before.

RJ,
Going Mobile eh, lol?
You thought those last two songs were terrific, Animals & Gerry & Pacemakers, but didn't get the Golden Pell?
That went to The Merseybeats for Sorrow, a very interesting pick.
The Beatles must have been listening, cause they later used "With your long blond hair and eyes of blue" in the great song It's All Too Much.
As for the sound quality, sounds alright to me.
I am gonna send you the song, and you can hear for yourself.
Happy you liked and remembered Volume One and so far Volume Two.
These songs are important to hear as to how we got where we are now.
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Jon,
Just played it and there is no alarm going off!
Maybe it was yours?
Well, there are a lot of all instruments, not necessarily more organ- but then, you are hearing alarms, lol!
No, this was not a repeat- it is a freshly baked product.

Enough questions, this was quite an organic show and I liked it. (See what I did there?)

Yes I caught it- you did Questions like I did, and worked in your organ (WHAT, LOL?)
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

I am on the mobile so this will be brief. Golden Pell to The Mersey Beats for Sorrow, but the sound quality was not good.

Those last two songs were terrific.

I remember enjoying Volume One of the subject and I am looking forward to the rest of Volume Two as well.

I heard an alarm going off while you were talking about drums and stomping on the stairs. What was that alarm for? It sounded like an alarm from a watch.

Is it just me or was there a lot of organ? Could have sworn I mentioned this before, was it this show? Is this a repeat?

Enough questions, this was quite an organic show and I liked it. (See what I did there?)
