I'll start this Episode with something that has bothered me for a long time and has nothing to do with the British Invasion.
It has to do with "Sports".
IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM IS THIS A SPORT, LOL!
And I'll even have a Song for it.
Then we'll spend some time with one of my favorites, The Yardbirds- looking back, a band that should have been much bigger than they were.
With some examples of how adventurous both Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck could be as Lead Guitarists of that great group.
To close, some Brit Import Songs from 1965 that were big hits here in America.

Jon,
I thought you'd catch it when I went on about the Dog Show- NOT A GODDAM SPORT, LOL!
Yardbirds were GREAT, and I have that Birdland CD.
Thanks for the listens,
Mike
So the first one didn't sound familiar but this one did. Might have been the part about the Yardbirds and how they weren't popular. I think they became popular well after they disbanded though. They did have a cool album, Birdland, that came out in the early 00's.
