Classic Rock Bottom

Moving on with The International Whistlers Convention which may, or may not be, going on in Louisburg, North Carolina.
Rather than continue to move up the Ladder of Time, I thought I'd make a stop, a detour.
There are Songs we grew up with from the Theater and Movies, whether consciously or not.
In my case not willingly, as a kid I never liked Musicals, lol!
But these will not all BE Musicals.
Anyway that's where this Rockollections Bus is going.
It's Whistling in Theatrical Productions and Cinema!

I know, even I had to say it- isn't this a Rock and Roll show, LOL?
Strict code? I don't even have a modest code!
And this half show gets a Classic Pell, for The Good, The Bad And The Ugly!
Terrific song, and see Jon, people CAN spell it out...I don't speak acronyms, LOL!
Those old Clint Eastwood movies, Spaghetti Westerns, love 'em!
Very little dialogue with great moody Music- just entertaining all around.
I just finished the first half of next week's show.
There will be forgotten surprises.
Thanks for the listen and writing,

Someone here who looks down at musicals and those that like it ME, LOL?
I'm just getting into them a bit- watching the old Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers movies on TCM.
Yes, a Christmas in April- another law broken by the rebel Pell, lol!
Never seeing Holiday Inn, I can maybe understand.
But never watched a John Wayne movie?
Now that is not only illegal but un-American!
I HATE it worse than you with Westerns when people do this shit, TGTBATU!
I always have to stop and think what the hell are these lazy people saying, lol?
Let me SPELL it out, The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly!
Yeah, you're wild alright, lol!
As for that one song with whistling that I haven't played yet- I don't know what it is, honestly have no idea, but I probably will play it. LOL!
See a John Wayne movie with RJ & Bruuuuuuuuce!!!
Thanks for the listen and writing, you commie, lol,

Man, I thought this was a rock and roll show.  Nah, I'm kiddin'.  I know you stick to no strict code.  I enjoyed it, but really can't come up with a Golden Pell.

So, instead, I'll dole out another Classic Pell.  And it goes to none other than The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.  What a great tune that is.  Made me wanna go straight home (I listened at work yestereday) and watch some old Clint Eastwood movies.  I have a buddy that says he's been listening to music just like this from the old Spaghetti Western films.  Says he loves it.  If they sound like this, I can see why.

Nice job.  I look forward to a continuation of the series next week.

Musicals! I know someone here who looks down at musicals and those that like them.

A Christmas song in April? Is that even legal?

Never seen "Holiday Inn". Never watched a John Wayne movie, at least that I can remember. There might have been one when I was a kid, but that's it. He has never appealed to me. Westerns really don't either. There a very few westerns I can watch. VERY FEW. One day I'll maybe let you know what they are.

I knew the theme to TGTBATU way before seeing the movie. We're talking 40 years or so. Isn't that wild?

Nice show, still pleased you haven't posted that one song with whistling.

And, no. No matter how many times you or anyone else says that I "need" to see a John Wayne movie, it just ain't gonna happen.
