Classic Rock Bottom

I haven’t put any of them here, but for the last few years I have been playing the Beatles and the Who albums in their entirety- and in the order they were released.
At any rate and for whatever reason, I decided to put this one up.
The Who, at their creative peak, and their undoubtedly BEST album, Who’s Next!
This LP started out as a part of Pete Townshend’s massive Lifehouse (which I highly recommend you give a listen to, if you get the chance- as much like Brian Wilson’s Smile, it has finally come out as a chock full 6 CD set Lifehouse Chronicles or distilled down to one CD, Lifehouse Elements).
I have books about both groups that take each song on each album, and give insights, facts and trivia.
Thus, I will be telling you about each song.
Now, I knew this would be a tight squeeze- getting all the music and the info into one hour.
So I read fast.
And naturally I tripped over my own mouth a few times, LOL!
One other thing, we went out of sequence just once, and in this episode, to get it all to fit.
I invite you to join me in listening to Part One of one of the truly great albums of Rock& Roll.
If you can take my laughing and fumbling my carefree way through this.
There were some TOUGH words in there, LOL!

Here's the link for that:

Wow! Absolutely great pick Mike. This album is a true classic. Like you said, no duffers on it. I actually featured it in an Album of the Week post on my previous site (Classic Rock Revisited). Here is a link if your interested in my opinion on the whole album:

Can't wait to hear part 2 of the show.
