National Rivers Month is celebrated annually during the month of June to promote awareness and preservation of the country's Rivers.
For this event, I have gathered a bunch of some of my favorite River songs.
And as usual, there are far too many for me to have time enough to play.
So I'll just let the tide take me in that Free-Form and Free-Association way of choosing the songs, flowing along like a River.
I can already see that some truly wonderful River songs will be left out.
Hopefully, you will enjoy this opening salvo for one of our most Beautiful Natural Resources.
And it contains Music you will remember or be introduced to.
Give me a Theme about something, and I will give you several shows, lol!

Jon,
I am in Southern Brooklyn, lol!
Would have to be one good-looking girl to make me meet anybody down by the river!
Thanks for the listen!
Mike
Sounded almost southern at the end there. And no, I would rather not meet you down by the river side.
There are no birthdays today
