The first 2 NMC's have been really good, I think one is at least on par...
Krokus, HooDoo (March 2010)
1. Drive It In
2. HooDoo Woman
3. Ride Into The Sun
4. Too Hot
5. In My Blood
They are back and firing on all cylinders. This whole album is from head to toe really quite good, you even get their standard cover tune on here as well. It's actually Born To Be Wild and they did a great job on that track, but the rest is better so it didnt make my top 5.
Honeymoon Suite, Clifton Hill (July 2009 (made the one year rule by a few days))
6. Riffola
7. Ordinary
8. Down To Business
9. The Garden
Most famous for New Girl Now and What Does It Take from the 80's Lethal Weapon series, Honeymoon Suite is still cranking out some pretty good stuff. Clifton Hill is a solid album (isnt it weird how we still call them albums?) Riffola is the best track for me. Good riff-based tunes with a couple ballads, these 4 are good representation of what you will hear on the rest.
Stone Temple Pilots, ST (May 2010)
10. Between The Lines
11. Hickory Dichotomy
12. Hazy Daze
13. Bagman
14. Maver
Scott Weiland says he wrote these tunes in the third person, so his personal problems are littered throughout these tunes. I think in an old thread about this album some didnt like the "new" sound, but I hear the old STP. Between The lines and Bagman would fit on Tiny Music easily, Hickory Dichotomy on Purple, and Maver on #4. I love this release. Welcome back to STP! I hope we keep getting more...
