I've heard 9 out of 13 songs from new album "Forevermore". Is it any good?

I must say, that I'm a bit dissapointed. I'll guess it's an OKAY album, but you'll have to be a Whitesnake-fan to REALLY like it.

All of those 9 songs, are not bad, but not one of them are any GOOD. It's very much an 80's sound, especially the guitar's (in a bad way, I think) and it's all something, that you have heard 1,000,000 times before, both the music and the lyrics. Of course, Coverdale's voice aint as good, as it used to be, but he does an okay job. There it was again. It simply is an OKAY album, but I won't purchase it, unless the remaining 4 tracks are 100 % CLASSIC songs, but I honestly don't think they are, and I would probably only listen to the album a couple of times, and never look at it again.

Too bad. I really though, that this would be the first 2011-album, that I would buy.

Well, it's only my opinion. Maybe some of you will like it?

(The 4 tracks I've heard of Duff McCagan's Loaded's coming album, sounds more promising to me!!)

That's too bad. I read an absolutely glowing review on melodicrock.com. But again, music is subjective, so not everybody likes the same thing. I'll probably buy it anyway.

And I already had my sights set on the Loaded album.

Yeah, I've read a few good reviews as well, and maybe my expectations was too high. I do NEED to buy some new music soon!!

I had also planned, maybe to buy the new Radiohead-album, and I've (also) heard all of that today, and I'm NOT going to buy that (either), they are too weird these days, it's not rock at all. I've ALSO heard a couple of songs from the new Paul Simon-album, besides the one from this week's VOTW, and to my pleasant surprise, THEY sounded better than I thought they would. I might pick that one up, and like you, "Loaded", Foo Fighter's and PERHAPS Sixx'am.

By the way, RJhog: Do you own any Whitesnake? If not, and if I were you, I would rather buy "Saint & sinners" and "Slide it in", from 1982 and 1984. They are much better than the new one IMHO.

Stevie Nicks (maybe)

Sixx AM

Foo Fighters

Shinedown (Live 2CD,2DVD)

I know there's more, I just can't think of 'em.
