Good half Mike. Although I do think I prefer the previous half overall.
I thought the Suzanne Vega song was really good. And I see you played Guinnevere by CSN. I guess I called that one.
I think the Golden Pell will go to Bonnie Rait. That song, Too Long At The Fair, was really, really good. I was thinking about how great the guitar work was, then you said it was Rait, and I thought..."I should have figured that out.
Anyway, good series.
Dropping in mid-series again, better late than never!! Mike - I think you should take this one step further and do a LARPing series. I know Jon would appreciate that!
Charlotte host a quite large and popular Renaissance fair, in fact it should be starting in the next week or two and running into mid November. Its well attended and the Turkey Legs are a must eat!!
Kicking this off with Yes is great! Love them. I would make a comment about the RRHOF fame right about now but I cant stomach them. Suzanne Vega, kinda weird vocal style, but the acoustic guitar was nice!
Interesting listen but I gotta give the GPell to Bonnie Raitt because it had cool electric geetar and I heard the Yes track before...
Resume LARPing...
This sounded like Renaissance Fair songs!
That was The Strawbs? I get them confused with The Raspberries. It makes sense. The confusion.
For a series of shows that I thought I had heard before but hadn't, I think this one was my favorite. In a way the sounds kind of sounded the same, but they weren't. Well, with the exception of Yes.
You know, too bad that Vega is really known for a couple songs. This song is really good.
Well, then. THat wasn't the blues from Bonnie Raitt. She plays more than the blues????? Why, what the.....
Nice show!!
