ROCKOLLECTIONS: BUILDING A HOUSE WITH SONG- ROOMS

The Roof is finished, and we included an Attic while we were up there.
Building A House With Song, now it is time to start filling in this Shell of a Structure with Rooms.
And one Room that at various times is VERY important is a Bathroom!
To our great relief, we have ALL been thankful we had one of those, lol!
I'll take it from there.
Soon it will be Time To Move In, so I hope you Love This House!
Included in this Chapter, a very rare song by a Former Beatle.
Take a wander through the House, and crank up the Music while you do!

Jon, you did it live...like a court reporter.

Well, stop it...it doesn't work, lol!

This is frightening: Not building in the attic. Hiding. Stuff.

What stuff?

And what will happen to Broad Street, lol?

Actually, I was typing most of this as I listened, so it was "live". You did mention it was from the 80's but I couldn't erase what I typed already, could I?

Not building in the attic. Hiding. Stuff.

Jon,
I didn't pass over the attic.
I played that Shel Silverstein poem.
And I played Attics Of My Life- don't you remember saying you like the Grateful Dead more as you age?
Did you bump your head in the attic or basement...and WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING IN THERE, LOL?
The  folks were laughing during the Pete Seeger song because it can be regarded as social commentary or just plain cute.
Took you a while to get there, but I think you like "Pink Houses", lol!
The rare Paul McCartney song IS from the 80's, I said it on the show.
Man, were you on the ganja while listening to this half- it is like you were out of it, lol?
Although it's been a while, I liked "Give My Regards To Broad Street" too.
Lost master tapes and stuff, right?
CSN and don't forget the Y!
That is a good Paul Simon song, always liked it.
Now take a deep breath, relax...and realize I did NOT bypass the attic!
And If I found a song about a bidet, why would I play it?
I don't use the damn things, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing, and get out of the sun...get out of Detroit while you're at it, lol,
Mike

I'm surprised you just passed over the attic like it means nothing. Other than the basement, where else can you hide......stuff? You could have a least played something off of "Songs From The Attic", doncha think?

I heard folks laughing during the Pete Seeger song, was there something funny that I missed?

I used to despise John Cougar Mellencamp III Sr. Esq., but when "Uh-Huh" came out, I liked him since he rocked out on most of that album, but "Pink Houses" is a nifty little song.

John Parr? Oh, no. Paul McCartney. I like this song, but it sounds like something from the 80's. This has 80's production all over it. Never heard this song before, but I like. You know what? I'm probably one of the few that like "Give My Regards To Broad Street" , both the album and the movie. Just thought I'd throw that in here.

I have a boxset of CSN&Y, but found a couple CSN cd's in the Wal Mart cheap-o cd bin so I bought 'em. Again, just something else I'm throwing in here just because I can. Of course I have had "Deja Vu" for a long time, but who doesn't?

Paul Simon song was really good, especially liked the piano at the end. Made it sound more ominous? Maybe?

Another nice selection even though you bypassed the attic. Oh, you also bypassed the bidet.
