ROCKOLLECTIONS: VOL7- ODDS AND ENDS PT.1

Here's one of those every now and then Odds & Ends Shows I like to do- no Theme!
But I do seem to find some connections, lol!
For an Amy’s daughter promise, I’ll start with one of the 2 songs Elvis recorded in his first real recording session at Sun Records Studios.
Because of a very busy week, this is a true Old-Fashioned Free-Form Radio Show- whatever was sitting close to me had a chance to be played.
A song I thought of for Presidents Day, a few thoughts I had during and after the Sunday Papers.
The most interesting thing in this opening half is a Song Journey from back in the 60’s.
A Song that went hardly known, a little known, and finally known!
Join me for a little something different.

Jon,
He slept all over, that was upstate New York.
I don’t know if I have Chicago's Night & Day album, gonna look for it.
Hamilton Camp- while I think of him as an actor it’s as a singer first.
There was a very funny show he was on in the 60’s where I first saw him as an actor- it was called He & She and only lasted one season.
Sometimes the best shows don’t appeal to the masses.
Hey I don’t appeal to the masses, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

So, I'm a bit confused. Where exactly did George Washington sleep? The song really didn't make that clear.

Funny you played that Eric Carmen song because I listened to Chicago's Night & Day album. Kind of the same thing, check it out when you have a chance.

More Hamilton Camp? You've played a lot by him and I still think of him as that actor from some good and some really not so good movies.
