Wow, I am surprised.
I'm gonna have to go back and give a listen.
Nice research!
70-74 and 6 albums for the post-Green, pre-Buck/Nicks. There were 4 peter Green albums and yet there's a TON of comp discs. There's some really good songs from 70-74 and it's interesting there's nothing about those years on one comp.
Yessir, I shore did!
Oh Jon, you get the sound effects I sent you?
Good show Mike.
Pretty much liked everything today.
Best songs for me were Love Potion No. 9, Somebody Done Hoodooed The Hoodoo Man (or something like that), I've Been Hoodooed, Hypnotized (Fleetwood Mac) and Something Following Me.
That being said, I'm giving the Golden Pell to Otis Redding for Trick Or Treat. Perfect title for this episode and a really cool song.
Happy Halloweeny!
Did you forget The Chipmunks in that first song? Either way, it gets you head to boppin'.
Love Potion #9? How about this version?
You're right. For a song from the 40's, that didn't sound like a song from the 40's.
Went to Walmart yesterday to kind of look for Halloween candy, and it was all gone from the aisle it was in a week or so ago. In it's place was Christmas stuff. I still need Halloween candy, will probably go back tomorrow and try to find where they're hiding it.
I really, really like that Fleetwood Mac song. I would like to see a compilation of post Peter Green, pre Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac. I have most (if not all) of those albums but they need to be remastered. There's some really good music during that era.
Even though there were some older songs on this show, it didn't sound dated. I liked it. I liked it a lot.
There are no birthdays today
