I agree on some of these remarks from amazon.co.uk:
"This album is a must have for all Iron Maiden fans. Die hard fans can bask and rejoice in the glory of what was (and still is) thanks to this album.
Epic riffs and sticky solos... It gave me goose pumps from the start and the feeling was elevated many times during the remainder of the album.
Would like to point out "Red and the black" and "Empire of the clouds" are phenomenal old school epic songs... as good as the masterpieces of the earlier albums."
" I was truly taken by surprise by the quality of this. Empire of the Clouds is one of the best Maiden songs EVER... period. The price tag on the CD is worth that song alone... there is an urgency and passion in the music throughout the album and craftsmanship that we longed for.."
"Not going to write a long review but as a Maiden fan of over 25 years, this album is just MAIDEN "epicness" through and through. It's their best album since the simply brilliant Brave New World from 2000. If you're not in aural ecstasy you're not a Maiden fan. End of."
"This album is simply the best album the band has done since 1988. Easily. The last three albums felt like the band was experimenting with different styles"
"Have been a long term fan I can honestly say "one of the top four albums the band have released"
Too early, to say if it's in top 3 of the year, but the album-cover is probably no. 1 imo.
