I’ll open this last half of our Road Trip to New Orleans with a short musical History Lesson about events over two hundred years ago!
I’ll have a guy who was a child prodigy, writing his first song at age 8.
The funniest song here is by another guy who could sing like a girl…and a frog- earning himself a nickname in the process, lol!
For me, the centerpiece of this Episode is the very first song I ever heard by Dr. John back in 1968.
Back when he was known as the Night Tripper.
If you have heard it, maybe you’ll remember how mindblowing it was on that first listen…and many listens afterward.
If you have never heard it, it will be an experience!
We’ll Walk Out and let another guy Walk In To New Orleans, and undoubtedly take another of these Road Trips in the future.
Enjoy!

But for those who thought it funny the first time, it WAS!
Hahahahahaha, Comedy Gold, LOL!
Yes. Same joke. Still not funny.
Jon,
I think there were maybe more obscure songs in here, that may be the reason for the unfamiliarity.
Now the potato thing...did I use the SAME joke, LOL?
I don't remember...is this a NEW Show, LOL?
Thanks for the listen,
Mike
And yet....this one did NOT sound familiar, even though there was that potato thing.
There are no birthdays today
