That's right...it was raining acid!
You were out watching the Colored Rain, LOL!
I must have missed that rain thing. Crappy drugs.
Jon,
That's uncanny, I JUST did a whole bunch of Rain songs a little while ago, lol!
Now I am curious, gotta find that song!
RJ,
Thanks, I got them.
Sent you stuff too.
I don't think Kansas did a Beatles cover...but they sure did do a cool song about a Rainmaker by golly by gee!
I can't think of who did the Red Hill Mining Town cover off the top of my head, but I'll send it to you. I'm gonna send you a Stones cover by a woman as well. It's pretty cool.
I was waiting for you to play something from the movie, and ya did! The only thing that didn't click was Gomez, dunno, just wasn't my bag. And the Harry Nillson song was aces. Damn, that guy was GOOD! Songs about puppies and then songs about breaking his heart.....
I missed last week's show. Work has been a bummer and I just don't have time to listen at home. But it is still on my iPod. I'll get to it one of these days.
You'd probably like Coverville. You can google it and listen on the computer I think. It's not always classic albums. Sometimes they will do a "cover story" where they pick a band, say the Rolling Stones, and cover a bunch of their music, but in covers only. It's somewhat diverse. They put up 2 shows a week, so somehow they stay busy. I only pick and choose if it's an album or artist I like. A couple of weeks ago they did U2's The Joshua Tree. They played one cover that I downloaded from Amazon. It's a really nicely done cover of Red Hill Mining Town.
