Jon,
For years you disliked the guy for no reason...shame on you!
Hahahahahaha, you make me laugh...the internet is NEVER wrong....hahahahahaha!
What a character!
Mike
It says he's not and the internet is NEVER wrong. So I take back everything I might have said or heard about Eric Burdon. He's a righteous dude!
Oh, I guess not:
Is there something about Eric Burdon that maybe I read? I don't know if it was that he destroyed War or something like that. Going to have to put my thinking cap on (and maybe google "Eric Burdon is a jerk")
Jon,
It was something you ATE, lol!
Sorry I am so late with this, but I have been crazy busy.
I am like that too, I see a guy somewhere and I have a bad memory associated with them- even though I can't remember what the memory actually is.
As a bartender for a while, I would almost always be right!
On rare occasions it's a good unknown memory about a seeming stranger, but far more often it is the bad feeling.
I always loved the Mamas & Papas, for a lot of reasons, fun to watch them develop.
Don't know what happened with Ball & Chain but there was a dropoff- could have been any number of things- I screwed up in the transfer, Engineer Ken may have dropped the volume, the show was 5 years old, etc.
A whole show dedicated to bleeps and blips?
I don't know...but Beaver & Krause did more than just bleeps and blips, lol!
I still think it would be too hard for most people to get into.
Thanks for listening and writing, I hope to get to the other one later...something about my being old in there?
GRRRRRR...we better NOT meet, lol,
Mike
I don't know if it's something I read or something I saw, but I've always had an issue with Eric Burdon. But I don't know what the issue is!!! Good song though...
That M&P sounded fantastic. Even live they sounded great.
I don't now what was up with the Ball & Chain song, I've heard it many times before but it seemed that the volume was turned way down? Could have just been me.
I say go for the Moog stuff (even though this was 5 years ago?). Just a whole show dedicated to bleeps and blips. Bleepy blips!
There are no birthdays today
