You're brown, lol?
I'm colorful....like Poo!
Oh hey, having trouble sending the Moody Blues, gonna try a different way.
Let me know if it works.
Mike
Jon is a very unique character, lol!
He's colorful!
Most of the music Jon likes brings the word "poo" to mind.
Jon,
And I remember a time not long ago when you wanted to bring some CLASS to this place!
You even scolded me, lol!
Now look at you...Mr Hanky's Christmas Poo songs indeed!
I remembered something about I Saw Three Ships which I forgot to mention before. You need to get the South Park version. Hell, get the South Park Xmas album. I think it's called Mr Hanky's Christmas Poo songs or something like that.
Hey Mike, I'm listening at home, so I'll be commenting as the songs play, so it may or may not seem a bit disjointed. What can I say, I've been off since Tuesday so I'm a couple of days late.
I Saw Three Ships - Not bad, very choral and Christmassy.
Go Tell It On The Mountain - We used to sing this in choir way back in 5th or 6th grade and of course, at Church as well. I've always liked the song, and I really like this folk sounding version with the acoustic accompaniment. I said folk, but maybe closer to a really old gospel version. Wow, I had no idea this was S&G.
White Chistmas - Again, a lot of Christmas spirit here.
Let It Snow - Very traditional version.
Let It Snow - Man, I really dig Huey Lewis & The News. This is definitely the better version of this song. A lot of Rock And Roll feel to it, not just a Christmas song. Too bad it's Chicago. Psych. I still like this version better, although Dean Martin's isn't bad at all.
It's A Marsh Mallow World - Meh...
If It Doesn't Snow On Christmas - I love Joe Pesci, but he needs to stick to acting.
First Snow On Brooklyn - Really diggin' this Jethro Tull song. Never heard it before. This is great. Songs like this have so much atmosphere that they truly make me wish I knew what it was like to live in that place.
Sleigh Ride - Another traditional Christmas tune. I guess I'm just Scrooge when it comes to those, I prefer non-traditional stuff like that Jethro Tull song.
Tubular Bells - Sounds great, but makes me think of a scary movie like Halloween more so than Christmas.
Well, all that leaves is the awarding of the Golden Pell. I'm goin' with Jethro Tull. I sure would like to have that one...
Sir?
At ease, private!
There are no birthdays today
