Oh Jon, starting trouble again.
The dramatics of this makes me laugh, "Unbelievable. I'm just sickened."
Hahahahahaha!!!
I am SURE RJ was kidding, like he was with Jerry Lewis and the Playboy staff in the first half!
And it's the type of humor YOU are noted for, lol!
You know, if there was a "like" button on CRB, people would be changing it with you all the time, LOL!
What a guy...hahahahaha!!!!
Hey, I tried to make it easier for you by leaving out that tough word "of".
You're welcome!
I wish we had a "like" button on CRB. I would not use it for Jon's latest comment.
Not David Lee Roth.
"....the listeners of this show possess an above average intelligence." should be changed to "SOME the listeners of this show possess an above average intelligence."
Unbelievable. I'm just sickened.
This half was good for sure, but not quite up to the previous two halves. Still, a couple of tracks I really liked.
The Paul Simon tune was nice. Gentle. Like always with him. Just a soothing voice.
That last track by David Lee Roth was okay, but his voice sounded much different than it did in his Van Halen days.
I was gonna give the Golden Pell to McCartney and Wings, but that part towards the end wasn't so great, so I decided to go with the first song that I thought was really cool...
Michael Angelo by Emmy Lou Harris. That was really nice.
And a terrific series Mike. You have done it again, pulling greatness from what many would think is nothingness.
Ooooooh. That second song is old-timey. Makes me want to copy of Grit and head to the bathroom! The National Gallery, you say? I like vocalizing like that. Probably because I'm classy.
Emmylou Harris, you say? Nice song, really nice. But I kept thinking she was singing "my cholesterol". Ha, ha ha?
"For a long time now I have known that the listeners of this show possess an above average intelligence".
Say what? Who's biscuits are you trying to butter?
"Beginning with the man who brung us to the party." C'mon, man!
Paul Simon is singing about Oreos. Cookie song!
Drinking song! Ho hey ho!
Ok, I could swear you said "boys touch me", but in actuality you said "always touched me" when you were talking about Norman Rockwell. I had to listen to that a couple times just to make sure. it's all good. But what was wrong with Norman? I liked The Saturday Evening Post when I was younger, don't know if it had to do with the cover art or what since I don't really remember any articles. Maybe the centerfold, and that was it. Why did I like it when I was a kid? I will never know.
This was a good show with some fine music. Yeah!
