The Verdict
The vocals on The Beauty of Letting Go reminded me a bit of Gavin Rossdale from Bush. Mind you, it wasn't throughout the whole album, just in spots (particularly on "Be A Man").
The follow up CD to 2003's Where You Are is a decent enough rock album. The band has a pretty sweet ballad in "Leaving Song". Two rockers stand out above the fray. "Who Cares" is decent and "Get Out Alive" has a lively tempo. The melody is great. I'd love to hear this song getting airplay on the radio.
What I didn't like is that the majority of the material sounded just like most anything else I can hear on the radio endless times a day.
The band's talent is undeniable, but they need more material that differentiates them from the rest of the pack vying for notice from rock fans.
