Anti-Piracy Bill Unanimously Passes Senate Committee

• The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA), the bill that would require Internet Service Providers and domain registrars to block access to websites that are dedicated to infringing copyright (torrent sites, blogs that post albums/tracks, etc.), was unanimously approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.  The bill was introduced in September, and will now head to the full Senate for debate. I don't really get this? It sounds to me like, it's kind of a "local" thing in the US. If it was "my" site instead of RJhog's, what then? I don't think a danish site would be blocked, or would it, in the US? I can understand, that the music in fx. NMC, we can't "do" anymore, but what about the video's and music, that's on Youtube?

I'm not really sure Niels, but the youtube stuff should be fine. I read this as the type of stuff we do by posting albums. The crappy thing is that we're not doing any of this to aid illegal downloading, as a matter of fact, we are promoting the purchasing of music. So we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.
