I'm fairly new to DBT's myself. Truthfully, I checked them out because Jason Isbell had been in the band. I have one of their albums that he recorded with them, and his songs are phenomenal. I don't have a good reason for having picked this up, seeing as how he is no longer in the band. I like the offerings lyrically, they seem to have something to say. And I'm a fan of their style of music. I think it's a very decent listen, but it has nothing that really, really draws me in. I've spared each of you the misery of posting the newest Blackberry Smoke and Whiskey Myers releases, but depending on what Scott posts next weekend, you may be spared no longer.
